ENG: Those who have followed me for a long time probably know I wear contact lenses most of the time and wear my glasses instead of contacts at night. In Highschool I all of a sudden had to wear glasses ( I thought it was super stupid). Who wants to wear glasses in High school? Usually I sat in the front of the class and especially in the aula I would not wear my glasses. if I could not see at all I thought; oh well, so be it!!! But after a while I decided to go with contact lenses and really was a good choice. I can see so much better! In the mean time I have been using contacts for over 10 years and can't be without them. Besides that glasses come out more and more with different and funky frames and it is not stupid to wear glasses anymore. There was even a period that people bought glasses just for the fun and fashion of it not because they needed it.

NL: Diegene die mij een lange tijd volgen weten misschien dat ik contact lenzen draag en deze vaak in de avond verruil voor mijn bril. Op de middelbare school moest ik opeens een bril (wat ik echt super stom vond). Wie wil nou een bril als je in de eerste klas zit? Meestal ging ik voor aan in de klas zitten en in de gangen en vooral in de aula droeg ik echt geen bril. Dan zag ik maar wat minder. Natuurlijk super stom dat ik zo dacht, maar ach ik was jong. Inmiddels heb ik al meer dan 10 jaar contact lenzen en kan ik mij geen leven meer zonder bedenken. Daarnaast komen er steeds meer hippe monturen op de markt en is het echt niet zo stom meer om met een bril rond te lopen. Er is zelfs een periode geweest dat mensen een bril kochten omdat het in de mode was en niet omdat ze nou zo slecht zagen.
