FASHIONISTA CHLOE TV: PARIS FASHIONWEEK ADVENTURES

ENG: Good morning my loves! Last Monday I came back from five unforgettable days in Paris. Last weekend I started to edit the Paris Fashionweek video and yesterday evening I worked till very late to create this special video report about all my adventures in Paris. I really don't know where to start because I did so many things, but honestly I had the time of my life. I could have never imagined that I would reach this all with my blog. I went to Paris with my lovely friend and fellow blogger Noor of the blog QueenofJetlags. During Paris fashionweek we stayed at Hotel Lyric (the first two days) and Hotel Ibis Styles Montmartre Nord (the last two days). The first hotel was very located close by Jardin des Tuleries and the second hotel was located in the cosy neighbourhood Montmartre Paris. What I did during my 5 days in Paris?  I went to a bunch of shows, got a tour at the Serenza HQ, went to some presentations, got an amazing massage at the Ugg Australia Comfort lounge at hotel Vendome, bumped into the streetstyle madness at Isabel Marant/ Viktor & Rolf and played the tourist..(saw the Sacre Coeur, strolled through Montmartre and had an delicious lunch at Le Pain Quotidien ). NL: Goedemorgen lieverds! Vorige week maandag kwam ik terug van vijf onvergetelijke dagen in Parijs. Afgelopen vrijdag begon ik aan de edit van de Parijs Fashionweek video en heb tot gister avond laat gewerkt om de video af te maken, maar het resultaat mag er zijn. Ik weet niet waar ik moet beginnen, ik heb namelijk zoveel verschillende dingen meegemaakt en gezien. Een tijdje geleden kwamen Noor (blogger voor QueenofJetlags) en ik op het idee om tijdens Parijs Fashionweek naar Parijs te gaan. Eerst bleef het bij een idee, maar al gauw hadden we de knoop doorgehakt! Wat is er nou leuker om samen naar Parijs te gaan? Tijdens PFW verbleven wij in Hotel Lyric (dag 1 + 2) en Hotel Ibis Styles Montmartre Nord ( dag 3 + 4 ). Beide hotels waren zeer aangenaam. Hotel Lyric was net wat centraler gelegen (vooral tijdens Fashionweek heel erg handig), maar in de buurt van Hotel Ibis Style MN lagen meer  restaurants en gezellige bars. Wat heb ik nou precies gedaan in Parijs? Ik ben naar verschillende shows geweest, bezocht wat presentaties, kreeg een rondleiding op het hoofdkantoor van Sarenza, kreeg een heerlijke massage bij de UGG comfort lounge (klik hier om de nieuwste collectie bekijken), bezocht de streetstyle gekte bij Viktor&Rolf/ Isabel Marant en hing een beetje de toerist uit (Denk hierbij aan wandelen in Montmartre, de Sacre Coeur en lunchen bij Le Pain Quotidien). PARIS FASHIONWEEK SHOW AND STREETSTYLE REPORT

ENG: Today I want to talk with you about all the trends and things I spotted during Paris Fashioweek. During Paris Fashionweek I went to the shows of Christian Wijnants (check the post about it here), A.F van de Vorst (ph 1, 5-8) and Ter et Batine (ph 17 - 22). Before the big Viktor&Rolf show I managed to take some streetstyle pictures. To be honest with you it was hard to take streetstyle shots because Jardin des Tuleries was packed with many photographers. However I really liked it to get inspired by the fashion crowd from all over the world. I also want to share with you my pictures I took during the shows. Both shows were totally different from each other, but both had a manly aspect. Several fashion magazines and newspapers already reported that the high heels were greatly changed by flat man shoes or sneakers during the Milan/New York/London fashionweek. And again this style was seen at the Paris Fashionweek. A.F van de Vorst chose for flat high boots combined with oversized knitting's and Ter et Batine chose for flat gentleman's shoes combined with long skirts and high up turtlenecks. The models of Ter et Batine wore their hair slick back, and it was hard to find any femininity in the collection, while A.F van de Vorst sent his models with red lipstick on the catwalk (what is of course very feminine). Even though this fashion is focused for the winter of 2014/2015, the streetwear during the fashionweeks but also outside the fashionweeks looks like it is going with the overall latest trends. I spotted several bloggers and fashion fanatics wearing flat shoes (with some exceptions), the popular Adidas Stan Smith sneakers has been sold out for months, and nowadays you are not underdressed when you just wear an oversized sweater, oversized pants and white sneakers to a party. To be honest, I love that, the comfy look! Don't get me wrong, I love to dress myself up, but I don't mind to wear oversized leather pants, oversized sweat and white sneakers from time to time....and I do love that kind of look. Except what would men think of that? They still swear by high heels and a short skirt. But oh well you can't win them all. Let's move on! Up to my next event...Keep you all posted!

NL: Vandaag wil ik met jullie praten over de trends en opvallende dingen die ik gespot heb tijdens Parijs Fashionweek. Afgelopen dagen in Parijs bezocht ik de shows van Christian Wijnants (bekijk de post hierover hier), A.F van de Vorst  (ph 1, 5-8) en Ter et Batine (ph 17 - 22). Daarnaast maakte ik voor de grote Viktor & Rolf show een aantal streetstyle foto's. Om eerlijk te zijn, was het erg lastig om goede foto's te maken voor de Viktor&Rolf show omdat Jarin Des Tuleries heel erg druk was met (super) veel fotograven. Desalniettemin vond ik het super leuk om iedereen voorbij te zien komen en ik werd echt geinspireerd door verschillende bloggers en mode mensen. Anways, even terug naar de shows! Beide shows waren heel anders, maar duidelijk had het mannelijke aspect de boventoon. Verschillende modetijdschriften en kranten schreven al dat de hakken massaal werden verruild voor platte herenschoenen of sneakers tijdens de verschillende Milaan/New York/ Londen fashionweek shows. Dat was tijdens Parijs fashionweek ook het geval. A.F van de Vorst koos voor platte hoge laarzen gecombineerd met oversized breisels en Ter et Batine koos voor platte herenschoenen gecombineerd met lange rokken en hoog gesloten coltruien. Bij de show van Ter et Batine waren de haren van de modellen strak naar achter gekampt en was er bijna geen vrouwelijkheid meer in de collectie te vinden terwijl A.F van de Vorst de modellen nog wel met rode lippenstift de catwalk op stuurde (wat natuurlijk erg vrouwelijk is). Al is deze mode pas voor winter 2014/2015 het straatbeeld tijdens de fashionweeks maar ook buiten fashionweek om lijkt aardig mee te gaan met de nieuwe trends. Verschillende bloggers en diverse mode fanaten spotte ik bij de shows met platte schoenen (op wat uitzonderingen na), de populaire Adidas Stan Smith sneaker is al maanden uitverkocht en tegenwoordig ben je al lang niet meer underdressed als je met een grote sweater, oversized broek en witte gympen naar een feestje gaat. Om eerlijk te zijn ik hou ervan, de comfy look! Begrijp mij niet verkeerd, ik vind het heerlijk om mijzelf op te tutten voor een feestje, maar soms is een leren oversized broek, wijde trui en sneakers heerlijk en daarnaast vind ik het super leuk staan… Alleen wat zouden mannen er van vinden? Die zweren volgens mij nog steeds bij hakken en korte rokjes.. Maar ach, zo is er altijd wat… Let’s move on! Up to the next events…. Keep you posted..

CHRISTIAN WIJNANTS SHOW AT PARIS FASHIONWEEK

ENG: Good morning from Paris! Yesterday in the afternoon I arrived in Paris. Unfortunately it was raining, but that didn’t stop me from having fun. After we checked our room,  shot some outfit pictures and had  lunch we went to the Christian Wijnants show at Palais du Tokyo. I am having a cold from Milan (yes, I partied too much, dressed too cold and had little sleep) so I am not feeling that well. However, I dressed up and went to the venue. The AW14/15 collection is ready to wear and I already chose my favourite items for upcoming season. What about the mustard yellow coat and the metallic yellow bagpack? I am really obsessed with these items. All and all I had a pleasant time at the show…In this post I show you my favourite items of the show and the outfit I was wearing to the show. What I was wearing? I chose to wear black and white in combination with my floppy hat and transparent Furla bag (I LIKE!). I have to hurry now, breakfast is calling.. Keep you posted!

NL: Goede morgen vanuit Parijs! Gister middag na een korte reis met de Thalys kwam ik aan in de bruisende stad  Parijs. Helaas regende het, maar dat kon de pret niet deren. Nadat wij de kamer hadden gecheckt, outfit pictures hadden gemaakt en even snel een broodje hadden gegeten was het tijd voor de Christian Wijnants show bij Palais du Tokyo. Na Milaan kwam ik ziek thuis, ik hoest heel erg en voel mijzelf niet optimaal (ja, ik ben denk ik iets teveel uitgeweest, heb mijzelf te koud aangekleed en heb te weinig slaap gehad). Anyway, het blijft fashionweek dus ik maakte mijzelf show klaar en ging onderweg naar de show. De AW14/15 collectie is erg draagbaar en ik heb mijn favoriete items voor aankomend seizoen al gekozen. Wat vind je bijvoorbeeld van de oker gele jas en de metalic gele rugzak? Ik ben echt verliefd op deze items. Al met al was het een inspirerende show. In deze post laat ik jullie mijn favoriete items zien  en de outfit die ik droeg naar de show. Wat ik aanhad? Ik koos voor een zwart/wit outfit in combinatie met mijn flap hoed en transparante Furla tas ( I LIKE). Ik moet nu snel opschieten.. het ontbijt roept mij! Ik hou jullie op de hoogte!

SPOTTED MODELS AFTER VALENTINO SHOW PARIS

When the models came outside after the Valentino show ended, the situation became very chaotic. Many photographers wanted to take pictures of them, as did I. The models are beautiful, aren't they? I really like picture two, because it shows all the models laughing. By the way, what do you think of the Valentino hairstyle?

Toen de modellen na de show van Valentino naar buiten kwamen werd het een choas. De modellen zijn namelijk erg populair bij de fotografen.  Enorm veel fotografen willen ze dan ook vastleggen met hun camera. Sommige modellen zijn natuurlijk ook prachtig! Na de Valentino show fotografeerde ik ook verschillende modellen, foto twee vind ik het zelf het leukst!  Wat vinden jullie trouwens van het Valentino kapsel?
