As you can see a really quick update from Paris. Today I had an amazing day again, but I will tell you more about it very soon! Now I am off to take the Thalys to The Netherlands! I really want to thank the team of Hilton Arc The Triomphe, they give me the opportunity to visit Paris Fashionweek.

OUTFITPOST: THE STREETS OF PARIS

To start: Paris is amazing during Fashionweek. It’s a great location to shoot streetstyle! When you need some inspiration, you definitely have to go to PARIS!

This morning I started at Grand Palais, where I met two very nice girls from Lille (last picture). I attended the Leonard show, which was very impressive because of its music choice (Heartbreak Hotel of Whitney Houston). After this show I went to the Giambattista Valli show location. This was an amazing place to take pictures for my upcoming streetstyle report. I also met editor in chief of the Japanese Vogue and style icon Anne Dello Russo. That was a really really amazing experience. Afterwards I met the well-known blogger of Facehunter, Yvan Rodic. It was nice to talk with him about blogging, fashion etc. He started up his blog in 2006 and in the meantime he has wrote his own book, which of course inspires me enormously. When you don’t know Yvan Rodic, you definitely have to visit his blog! I also attended the show of Valentin Yudashkin later that day, but I tell you more about it in the upcoming days. More inspiring was Jardin de Tuileries where the show of Chloe took place. It was a real fashion madness. There were many fashionistas and fashionistos! After this amazing day, I was tired as hell! Fortunately I was invited by the owners of brand NMBR9 to visit Atmosphere. I think it was a good decision to visit them so I could sit down for a while and chat with them.

Afterwards, I decided to visit the Spa of the Hilton Arc de Triomphe, where I was about to stay that night again. I was very cold after the long day outside! I was frozen to the bone, and it took ages before I heated up a bit. Afterwards I drank something at the Executive Lounge, and because I stayed in a junior suite, I could eat and drink for free. An excellent service from the hotel.

Now I am off to bed, because tomorrow it will be an early day! I am curious what you think about today’s outfit. Om te beginnen: Parijs is geweldig tijdens Fashionweek, het is echt een super locatie om streetstyle foto's te schieten! Als je inspiratie nodig hebt, ga dan zeker naar Parijs.

Vanmorgen begon mijn dag bij Grand Palais, waar ik twee super leuke meiden ontmoette uit Lille (laatste foto). Hier bezocht ik de show van Leonard. Het was een indrukwekkende show en vooral de muziek keuze (Hartbreak Hotel van Witney Houston) gaf mij kippevel. Na deze prachtige show ging ik samen met wat streetstyle fotograven door naar de Giambattista Valli show locatie. Dit was de idiale plek om een mooie streetstyle reportage te maken, die later op deze blog zal verschijnen. Ik ontmoette hier ook Anna Dello Russo naast hoofdredacteur van de Japanse Vogue ook een geweldig style icoon. Als een van de laatste ging ik weg bij deze locatie om naar de Valentin Yudashkin show te gaan. Onderweg liep ik Yvan Rodic bekend van de Facehunter tegen het lijf.  Het was erg leuk om met hem te praten over bloggen, fashion etc. Hij startte zijn blog op in 2006 en heeft een inmiddels een boek uit gebacht wat mij enorm inspirereerd. Als je hem nog niet kent moet je zeker een kijkje nemen op zijn blog. De show van Valentin Yudashkin was in een prachtige zaal in hotel Westin, hier later meer over. Hierna ging ik door naar Jardin de Tuileries waar de show van het merk Chloe plaats vond. Hier was het echt fashion gekkehuis. Overal liepen prachtige, hippe en te gekke fashionista's en fashionisto's rond. Ik wist echt niet waar ik moest kijken. Na deze te gekke dag was ik doodmoe, ik droeg namelijk ook nog is hoge hakken. Gelukkig hadden Juliska en Wessel eigenaren van het merk NMBR9 mij uitgenodigd voor de beurs Atmosphere. Het was een goed besluit om hen even op te zoeken, te gaan zitten en gezellig bij te kletsen. 

Verkleumd van de kou kwam ik later aan in mijn hotel en besloot ik gebruik te maken van de Spa in Hilton Arc de Triomph. Ik was totaal onderkoeld (beetje overdreven), omdat het lang duurde voordat ik een beetje warm werd. Daarna heb ik nog even wat gedronken in de Executive Lounge waar ik als junior suite verblijver kosteloos een drankje en een hapje kan nuttigen. Een erg goede service moet ik zeggen!

Nu ga ik gauw slapen, morgen weer vroeg op! Ben benieuwd wat jullie van mijn outfit vandaag vinden. Blijf vooral in de buurt, want morgen vier ik mijn eerste blog verjaardag (HAPPY ME) en komt er in de middag een super streetstyle post van Parijs online!
