FASHIONISTA CHLOE TV: FESTIVAL DE ZON

NL: De afgelopen tijd vergat ik steeds om te filmen, maar ik heb de smaak weer te pakken. Maandag postte ik mijn Stockholm vlog online en vandaag staat er alweer een video online. Vorige week zondag bezocht ik met Tara Verbon Festival de Zon in Amsterdam. Festival de Zon wordt georganiseerd door Pleinvrees, Next Monday Hangover en Bandje Bandje. Van verhalen hoorde ik dat het een super leuk festival is en was hierdoor extra benieuwd. Zondag scheen gelukkig de zon en de temperatuur was aangenaam warm, dan is het natuurlijk heerlijk vertoeven aan het water. Ik kan natuurlijk 1000 dingen hier schrijven, maar ik zeg nu gewoon; kijk de video en kom even in de sferen van Festival De Zon. Volgend jaar ben ik er zeker weer bij! Ga jij nog festivals bezoeken deze zomer, of was je toevallig op De Zon? Laat het mij hieronder weten. Vind je deze video nou leuk vergeet dan niet een duimpje te geven onder de video! Last Sunday I went to Festival De Zon with fellow blogger Tara Verbon and we had so much fun! The weather was amazing, the music was good and you could drink from real coconuts (is that not amazing?!). Anyway, this video says more than 1000 words.. VIDEO DIARY: STOCKHOLM WITH NELLY.COM

NL: Vorige week vrijdag vertok ik samen met Larissa en Serena Verbon naar Stockholm voor het Nelly.com event. Het event vond plaats op zaterdag avond, maar we hadden er wat nachtjes bij geboekt om ook de stad te verkennen. In februari bezocht ik voor het eerst Scandinavië voor de fashionweek in Kopenhagen en nu was het tijd voor Stockholm, Zweden. Door een enorme vertraging verbleven we de eerste avond bij Ibis Airport Stockholm. Dit hotel is echt super fijn en direct aan het vliegveld en dus ideaal als je laat aankomt of smorgens vroeg vliegt. Bij het hotel ligt ook een meer waar je heerlijk kan hardlopen, het uitzicht over het meer is echt adembenemend. Dat vonden trouwens meer mensen want ik had enorm veel likes op deze instagram foto. Anyway, nadat we zaterdag wakker werden en ingecheckt hadden in ons hotel (in de stad) kon onze city trip beginnen. Stockholm heeft verschillende eilandjes en de meeste winkels vind je in Sodermalm (oa. Gina Tricot, Filippa K etc.), Biblioteksgatan in Ostermalm (& Other Stories) en in het overdekte winkelcentrum Nacka Forum. Er is volop keus en iedere fashionista kan haar hart ophalen. De eerste avond kozen we voor een simpele salade bij Kharazmi bij ons in de buurt, omdat we al vroeg bij het Nelly.com feestje moesten zijn. De tweede avond vonden we per toeval echt een super hip en leuk restaurantje Kottbaren. Kottbaren is ontstaan als slager/delicatesse winkel en besloot uit te bereiden naar restaurant/bar. Het was een proef en de winkel rekende niet op veel klanten, maar het werd een razend succes. Wij kwamen er op zondag en dan is er vanaf 9 uur een DJ die echt top deephouse muziek draait. Rond middennacht gaat het restaurant dicht en gaat het feestje in de club om de hoek verder. Het personeel is vriendelijk en ik heb echt super lekker gegeten. Op zondag zijn trouwens veel restaurants dicht, en de restaurants die wel open zijn dan extra druk waardoor ze een speciaal aangepast (verkleind/versimpeld) menu serveren. Houd hier dus wel even rekening mee als je Stockholm bezoekt. Reserveren is dus handig! Alles draaide natuurlijk om het Nelly hotel feest in het Lydmar hotel. Letterlijk het hele hotel (iedere verdieping) was in de feest stemming! Beneden werd R&B/pop gedraaid en op de tweede verdieping kon je dansen op deephouse/house. Daarnaast kon je ook nog op de foto en waren er overheerlijke cocktails. Helaas waren er maar twee bars aanwezig en dit zorgde voor nogal wat drukte en lange rijen. Al met al hebben we natuurlijk een super avond gehad (zie video). De derde dag wilde we voor de laatste keer de stad gaan bekijken, maar helaas kwam het met bakken de hemel uit. Er zat dus niks anders op dan onze koffer in te pakken en even heerlijk te gaan lunchen bij Restaurant Riche. Dit restaurant vind je in de buurt van Biblioteksgatan en is een prima uitval basis na gewinkeld te hebben bij &OtherStories. Na echte zweedse gehaktballetjes voor de zusjes Verbon en een pannetje mosselen kon de reis terug naar Nederland beginnen. Ik heb echt een super leuke tijd gehad in Stockholm! Benieuwd naar meer? ENG: Today I share with you my video and diary post about the citytrip with Serena and Larissa Verbon for Nelly.com to Stockholm. The Nelly hotel party took place on Saturday but we already arrived in Stockholm on Friday night. The first night we stayed near the airport at Ibis Styles Airport hotel. This hotel is perfect when you arrive in the evening or early in the morning. Next to the hotel you find a lake which is perfect as a running location, the view over the lake is stunning! Anyway, after we had breakfast and went to our hotel in the city our trip could start. Stockholm is divided into several islands and you find the best shops at Sodermalm (Gina Tricot, Filippa K etc.), Biblioteksgatan at Ostermalm (& Other Stories) and at shopping mall Nacka Forum. There are a lot of shops in Stockholm for every single fashionista. At the first night we decided to eat a salad at Kharazmi because we were expected early at the Nelly.com party. The Nelly.com party took place at Lydmar hotel and was amazing. You could party on every floor and there was also a funny photobooth. Downstairs you could dance on R&B/pop music and upstairs you could dance on deephouse. The cocktails were delicious and it was so nice to meet the Nelly.com team. We danced the night away and came home early in the morning. During the third and fourth day we did some sightseeying, went shopping and enjoyed a lot of food at various restaurants. I especially liked Restaurant Kottbaren, a former butcher shop. On Sunday after 9 o'clock the music goes on and it is getting buzier. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious! FASHIONISTA CHLOE TV: ELITE MODEL LOOK 2012

 
I am so excited.. A new VLOG online at Fashionista Chloe TV. Last Friday I attended the Elite Model Look Finals at Harbour Club Amsterdam. Lindsay Pimontel along with Elite Model Mark Cox presented the finals. During the special evening the ten selected finalists presented their selves in five different catwalk rounds. The models opened the show with clothing of Goosecraft, followed by the beautiful collection of Elisabetta Franchi, the swimwear collection by Mama Maria, the exclusive high fashion collection by Mattijs  and they closed with the haute couture evening wear by Tony Cohen. A variety of brands were chosen representing all areas of modeling. The jury consisted of Michaela Goddard-Queseda ( international director of Scouting Elite Word), Sven Gruber (director of Elite Model), Tony Cohen (Dutch designer) and Nicolette Goldsmann (Editor in Chief of L'Officiel) could see if they deployment the models in any modeling discipline. The jury chose the 14 year old Isabella Logman as winner of Elite Model Look 2012. She will represent the Netherlands during the World Wide Finals in Shanghai, China. Besides that she also won a modeling contract at Elite World.

Afterwards, I spoke with the winner of Elite Model Look 2011, Lieke van Houten.  She told me about  her model experiences after she won Elite Model Look. She has a beautiful modeling career, went to Berlin and Tokio for G-Star and is still dreaming of many more experiences. Her biggest dream is  to become a Victoria Sectret Angel. And at last... I love FASHIONISTA CHLOE TV... do you love Fashionista Chloe TV too?
