ENG: Berlin fashionweek, The Stylight bloggersawards, Bread and Butter, The Blogger Bazaar at Nhow hotel and more Berlin adventures. It all seems to be a while ago, but in fact I went to Berlin about 4 weeks ago.  During my trip in Berlin I took some recordings with my own Olympus PEN E-P5 camera, because I wanted to create a video for FashionistaChloeTV. After I came home, the Amsterdam fashionweek madness started and then I flew straight to Copenhagen for Copenhagen fashionweek. When I was home again, I had to post the Jan Boelo video and so the Berlin video was moved again! BUMMER! However, today it is time for my Berlin fashionweek adventures. In this video an impression of my stay in Berlin, the Berlin Stylight bloggersawards, my dinner with the girls of Fashionchick and the new trends for upcoming season spotted at Bread and Butter in Berlin. NL: Berlin Fashionweek, The Stylight bloggersawards, Bread and Butter, de Blogger Bazaar bij Nhow hotel en meer Berlijn avonturen. Alles lijkt tijden geleden, maar in werkelijkheid vertrok ik ongeveer 4 weken geleden naar Berlijn. Tijdens mijn trip in Berlijn maakte ik af en toe kleine video's met mijn Olympus Pen E-P5 camera. Toen ik thuis kwam uit Berlijn brak meteen de Amsterdam Fashionweek gekte aan en vloog ik daarna meteen door naar Kopenhagen voor Copenhagen Fashionweek. Toen ik weer thuis was moest de Jan Boelo video eerst online, waardoor de Berlijn video weer doorschoof. BUMMER! Maargoed, vandaag is het dan eindelijk tijd voor mijn Berlijn fashionweek avonturen! In deze video een korte impressie over mijn verblijf in Berlijn, the Stylight Bloggers Awards, het diner met de Fashionchick girls en de nieuwste trends voor aankomend seizoen gespot op de Bread and Butter beurs in Berlijn. ENG: Good evening, I just came back from my trip to Berlin. After a train trip of 6 hours I am really tired.  It is raining cats and dogs at the moment and it is already dark, so tonight I planned a TV night. I have to be honest I miss Berlin and Florence already, but fortunately next week it’s Amsterdam Fashionweek in The Netherlands. I took these pictures during my last day in Florence on the rooftop of the LuisaviaRoma store.. When I entered the rooftop terrace  I was speechless, the view was amazing!! This was my last outfit post from Florence, but there will be an amazing Florence video coming up very soon!  I keep you posted.. Now off to my couch!

NL: Goede avond!! Ik ben net terug uit Berlijn. Na een treinreis van 6 uur ben ik redelijk moe. Het regent buiten en het is alweer donker dus vanavond ga ik lekker voor de tv hangen. Ik mis Berlijn nu al, maar nog steeds mis ik het mooie Florence. Gelukkig heb ik nog een outfitpost vanuit Florence.  Deze outfitpost maakte ik op de laatste dag van mijn trip in Florence boven op het dak bij Luisaviaroma. De locatie is prachtig, want je het een super uitzicht op de Duomo.  Ik moet eerlijk toegeven toen ik het dak terras betrad viel mijn mond letterlijk open. Wauw wat was dit uitzicht adembenemend mooi! Dit is alweer de laatste post van Florence, maar er komt nog een super leuke video van Florence (en later ook nog van Berlijn) een dezer dagen online. OUTFITPOST: TRAVELING TO BERLIN

ENG: While you reading this post I am waiting on Eindhoven Airport to catch my flight to Berlin. Normally I am always in a hurry, but today I arrived on time (proud of myself!).  Guess what? I am on time today but my flight to Berlin is already delayed!! NO!! Fortunately I brought my laptop with me, so I am able to update my blog as I am doing right now!  I took these pictures a hour ago (just before boarding). What I am wearing? Of course an easy going travel outfit; my Levi’s jeans, It Girl by Danie jumper (now on sale here), army leather jacket and my new and favourite LuisaViaRoma buckle boots. I am READY for BERLIN, now I hope that I can leave quickly to Berlin airport.. Keep you posted!

NL: Terwijl ik dit typ zit ik in de vertrek hal op vluchthaven Eindhoven . Eigenlijk zou ik gehaast rond moeten lopen, maar voor de eerste keer ben ik ruim op tijd aanwezig om mijn vlucht te halen naar Berlijn. Ik neem net plaats aan een tafel om nog wat mails weg te werken en wat blijkt? Mijn vlucht naar Berlijn heeft nu al een half uur vertraging. Gelukkig heb ik mijn laptop in mijn handbagage meegenomen (ik heb alleen 10kg handbagage voor 4 dagen, stiekem best wel trots) en kan hierdoor snel nog even mijn blog bijwerken om jullie op de hoogte te brengen. Deze outfit foto’s maakte ik net voor vertrek. Wat ik draag? Een “easy going” reis outfit; mijn Levi’s jeans, It Girl by Danie sweater (nu met extra korting hier), leger leren jasje en natuurlijk mijn nieuwe ” buckle boots” van LuisaViaRoma. Ik ben klaar voor Berlijn, nu hopen dat ik snel kan vertrekken!

TRAVEL: ON MY WAY TO BERLIN

ENG: Goodmorning lovelies, while you reading this post I am on my way to Berlin. A few weeks ago I got an invitation to attend the amazing Stylight fashionawards (blogger Chiara Ferragni of The Blond Salad will host the event), which takes place during Berlin Fashionweek. I love Berlin and I've been visiting Berlin for many years now during fashionweek. It is always a lot of fun and I love to see the new trends on the famous Bread&Butter. Over the years I met a lot of German bloggers and it's always nice to meet them again during fashionweek. For these reasons I decided to go to Berlin last week. NL: Goedemorgen!! Terwijl je dit leest ben ik onderweg naar Berlijn. Een paar weken geleden kreeg ik een uitnodiging om het exclusieve Stylight bloggers event bij te wonen. Dit event wordt voor de eerste keer gehouden tijdens Berlijn fashionweek en bekend blogger Chiara Ferragni  (The Blonde Salad) gaat de avond presenteren. Ik heb er heel veel zin in en ben super benieuwd hoe de avond gaat verlopen. Vanaf 2009 bezoek ik ieder seizoen Berlijn tijdens fashionweek. Het is altijd leuk om over de bekende modebeurs Bread&Butter te struinen, nieuwe merken te spotten, oude bekende tegen te komen en Berlijn is natuurlijk een super fascinerende en gave stad. Daarnaast heb ik door de jaren heen verschillende Duitse bloggers leren kennen en het is altijd leuk om hen te zien tijdens deze dagen. Je snapt wel, ik ben helemaal klaar voor Berlijn en heb er super zin in!! Klein geheimpje, Na Florence hakte ik de knoop pas door om te gaan. Maar ach, Berlijn is altijd een goed idee! VIDEO DIARY: LAST DAY BERLIN FASHIONWEEK

Berlijn fashionweek is alweer een tijdje geleden, maar zoals beloofd, vandaag de 3de en laatste video blog over Berlijn op mijn blog. Tijdens onze 4de dag in Berlijn bekeken wij de nieuwste Quoins collectie in een van de Adlon Hotel suites in Berlijn en hebben wij heerlijk geluncht samen met het Duitse en Nederlandse team. Voordat we naar huis vlogen met Transavia brachten wij nog snel een bezoekje aan de fashionshow van Holy Ghost op Berlin Fashionweek terrein. Ik heb samen met Sharon en een top tijd gehad en wil Transavia en Art’otel city center west Berlin bedanken voor deze onvergetelijke trip. A few weeks ago I visited Berlin Fashionweek and as I promised today Berlin Fashionweek video diary part III. During our 4^th day in Berlin we attended the Quoins collection presentation at Adlon Hotel suites in Berlin. Afterwards we had a delicious lunch with the German and Dutch team. It was so much fun to meet the people, talked with them and got inspired by their stories about the jewellery.  Just before we left we visited the Holy Ghost fashionshow (more about it in the video). I really enjoyed my time with Sharon in Berlin and want to thank Transavia and Art’otel City Center West to make this all possible. VIDEO DIARY: BERLIN FASHIONWEEK DAY 2 + 3

NL: In eerste instantie wilde ik twee verschillende artikelen maken over dag twee en drie Berlin Fashionweek, maar aangezien Amsterdam fashionweek/ De Modefabriek er al weer aankomt heb ik besloten deze twee artikelen samen te voegen. Met bijna 40 foto’s en een video van meer dan 5 minuten neem ik jullie mee op reis naar Berlin Fashionweek dag 2 + 3 . Tijdens dag twee bezochten Sharon (check haar blog LooksBySharon) en ik samen de bekende Bread and Butter beurs op oud-vliegveld Tempelhof Berlin. Hier bekeken wij de zomer collectie 2014 van verschillende bekende merken. Bestseller die onder andere de merken Vero Moda, ONLY en Pieces voert, was goed vertegenwoordigd op de beurs. Voorgaande jaren stond Bestseller nog in een van de zes hallen, dit jaar hadden zij een eigen hal. Ik ben vooral te spreken over de nieuwe collectie van Selected Femme (duurdere lijn van Bestseller). In de video laat ik mijn twee favorieten items zien. Daarnaast was ik ook verrast door het merk Superga, die top blogger Chiara Ferragni bekend van de blog The Blond Salad heeft aangetrokken als model voor hun nieuwste campagne (zie foto 36.).

Na de beurs was het tijd voor de G-Star RAW collectie presentatie en show in een van de bekendste clubs van Berlijn Kater Hotzig. Voorgaande seizoenen gaf G-Star hier al een party, maar dit jaar kon men ook off-side de nieuwste collectie bewonderen (zie foto 2,20,38). De show werd dit keer in een soort van ballet/streetdance achtige setting opgevoerd en daar was iedereen erg van onder de indruk. Club Kater Hotzig was afgeladen vol en later op de avond werden mensen geweigerd omdat het te druk was. Ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat ik het erg knap vind dat G-Star RAW in deze tijd van crisis zo’n presentatie/show/party weet neer te zetten, waar vast en zeker iedereen over een paar maanden nog over praat. In tijden van de enorme snelheid van social media is dit zeker een prestatie.

Tijdens onze derde dag waren wij aanwezig op het Mercedes Benz Fashionweek terrein. Wij bekeken de Minx by Eva Lutz show en maakte een aantal streetstyle foto’s voor oa. instagram (@fashionistaChloe). Daarnaast moest er natuurlijk ook geshopt worden in de 4 etage tellende Forever21 aan de Kurfürstendamm (aanrader!!!). In de avond hadden wij vrije tijd en besloten we op stap te gaan in Friedrichshain. Na een heerlijke hamburger belanden we op een techno feestje in Club Suicide Circus (de naam zegt denk ik wel genoeg)  Na weinig slaap brak onze laatste dag in Berlijn aan. ENG: Initially I wanted to make 2 different posts of day 2 and day 3 at the Berlin Fashionweek, but because soon we will have the Fashionweek Amsterdam, I decided to combine the 2 days together. With almost 40 pictures and 1 video lasting more then 5 minutes, I am going to take on my trip to the Berlin Fashionweek. During day 2, Sharon (visit her blog LooksBySharon) and I visited the well known Bread and Butter fashion tradefair at the Tempelhof old-airporty. Here we checked out the summer collection for 2014 of different well known labels. Bestseller which represents the labels Vero Mode and Pieces was well represented. Previous years they were only represented in in one of the 6 halls, this year they had their own hall. I was very impressed with the new collection of Selected Femme (most expensive line of Bestseller). In the video you can see my 2 most favorite items. Besides that I was also very impressed with the label Superga, which top blogger Chiara Ferragni, known of the blog Theblondesalad.com, dressed herself in to model the outfit for the latest campaine.

After Bread and Butter, it was time for the G-star RAW collection presentation, the show was held in one of the most famous clubs of Berlin Kater Hotzig. They had done this in previous seasons, but this year you were able to admire the latest collection off-side (see photo 2,20,38). This time the show was given in ballet/streetdance kind of performance. Everybody was very impressed with the show. The club Kater Hotzig was filled to the top, and later in the evening people were even refused to enter. I have to admit that during this time of crisis, the presentation/show/party was absolutely awesome. And I am sure a lot of people will talk about this presentation for a long time to come. Not easy in this time of fast social media.

During our third day we attended the Minx by Eva Lutz show at the Mercedes Benz fashion week venue. After the shows I photographed some street style for my instagram account (@FashionistaChloe) and went to the amazing 4 storey clothing store Forever21. If you are planning a trip to Berlin, you definitely have to visit Forever21. In the evening we had some spare time and decided to visit Friedrichshain. Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg is set in the heart of Berlin, on either side of the River Spree, on the border between east and west. It is one of Berlin's most interesting and fascinating districts. After we enjoyed a delicious burger we ended at a traditional techno party at Club Suicide Circus (I think the name of the club already says enough LOL).  After a short sleep our last and fourth day in Berlin began.
