REVIEW: SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3

ENG: As you all have seen on social media probably, I now own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3.  Since a few years I am an Iphone fan and I had to get used to working with the Android.Where it is easy to synchronize the Iphone with another Iphone, it is a bit harder to do so with the Iphone to the Samsung. After an evening of fiddling around, the adventure can start. The phone is big and looks like a small Ipad and has its advances and disadvances. The Samsung Galaxy Note3 has a clear and defined colour picture what makes the pictures extra sharp and beautiful. Because of the larger phone and screen, the pictures are automatically larger aswel what is ideal for a blogger like me! As where the Instagram pictures on the Iphone are small, with the Samsung they are absolutely breathtaking! Wow, the Instagram pictures are so beautiful and larger and because of that I am even more hooked on Instagram! 

And I am loving the battery. People that know me also know that I am constantly charging my Iphone and I would have to turn my apps off and the clearness to safe my battery. With the Samsung Galaxy Note3 that is not necessary! The battery last at least a full day, even with the battery almost empty you can still make pictures and even phonecalls without disconnection (as this happened often with my Iphone). But oh well it has it's disadvances too, it will not fit in your pants pocket, people can read easily what you are writing (because the large screen), not all apps work on Samsung (afterlight does not start up well and is one of my favourite apps) and it doesn't download your contacts automatically in Whatsapp. 
So if you love pictures, search a lot on sites, you want your phone to work for you all day and the convenience of a large picture, then the Samsung Galaxy Note3 is for you. Are you just into apps (and afterlight) and a fan of Apple, stick with your Iphone and go for the newest model Iphone5. I am still unsure. Will it be an Iphone5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note3. Time will tell. What is your favourite phone?!

NL: Zoals jullie misschien gezien hebben via social media ben ik een paar weken in het bezit van een Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Sinds een aantal jaar ben ik Iphone fan en het was dus even wennen om met een Android apparaat te werken. Waar de iphone makkelijk synchroniseert met de andere Iphone gaat dat van Iphone naar Samsung wat lastiger. Na een avondje stoeien kon het avontuur beginnen. De telefoon is groot en lijkt op een kleine Ipad en dat heeft zijn voordelen maar ook zijn nadelen. De Samsung Galaxy Note3 heeft een helder beeld (zelfs met veel zonlicht kan je nog prima op het scherm kijken) en een mooie kleur belichting waardoor de foto's er extra mooi uit zien. Doordat de telefoon en het scherm zo groot zijn, zie je de foto's veel groter op het scherm en dat is voor mij als blogger natuurlijk ideaal! Waar de instagram plaatjes op de Iphone klein zijn, is het met de Samsung echt een verademing! Wauw de Istagram foto's zijn zo mooi groot en stiekem ben ik hierdoor nog meer verslaafd geworden aan Instagram! Daarnaast is de kwaliteit van een selfie (zie laatste twee foto's) vele malen beter dan de kwaliteit van een selfie gemaakt met een Iphone. 

Verder ben ik echt heel erg blij met de batterij. Mensen die mij kennen weten dat ik constant met mijn oplader liep om mijn Iphone op te laden, daarnaast sloot ik regelmatig apps af, zette ik de helderheid laag en deed ik andere dingen om mijn batterij te sparen. Bij de Samsung Galaxy Note3 is dit echt niet nodig! De batterij gaat makkelijk een hele dag mee, zelfs met weinig batterij kan je nog makkelijk foto's maken en valt de telefoon niet zomaar uit (zoals wel vaak het geval is bij de Iphone). Maar goed er zijn ook nadelen, zo past de telefoon niet in de broekzak, kunnen mensen makkelijk meelezen (omdat het scherm zo groot is), werken niet alle apps op de Samsung (afterlight start niet goed op en is wel een van mijn favoriete apps) en slaat de telefoon nieuwe contacten niet automatisch op in Whatsapp. 

Ben je dus vooral gesteld op foto’s, zoek je veel op sites, wil je het liefst dat je telefoon de hele dag mee gaat en ben je gebaat bij een groot scherm kies dan voor de Samsung Galaxy Note3. Ben jij juist een fan van alle apps  (en afterlight) en ben je een apple fan blijf dan bij je oude Iphone of ga voor een nieuwe Iphone5.  Ik ben nog aan het twijfelen. Wordt het de Iphone5 of Samsung Galaxy Note3.  We zullen het zien. Wat is jouw favoriete telefoon?!
