DIARY: AFW DAY 5 - DANIE BLES - OUTFIT

Goedemorgen allemaal! Inmiddels ben ik bijgekomen van Amsterdam Fashionweek. Dit doordat ik gister niet de stad in ben gegaan voor de Vierdaagse. Ik was in de stemming, maar ik hoest behoorlijk dus volgens mij was het echt even beter mijn rust te pakken. Inmiddels schijnt het zonnetje hier alweer volop en ga ik vanmiddag mijzelf toch echt wagen aan de drukke die nu in Nijmegen heerst. Anyway, eerst even terug komen op de post van vandaag. Vandaag een report over de vijfde dag van Amsterdam Fashionweek, waar vooral aandacht was voor top stylist Danie Bles en talent designer Winde Rienstra. Ik was erg onder de indruk van de Danie Bles, zij maakte van haar show een echt feestje met een band en dansende modellen over de catwalk. Daarnaast kreeg iedereen als aandenken een barbie mee naar huis (zie foto 12). Na de show van Danie Bles was het tijd voor Winde Rienstra die haar modellen met ultra hoge hakken de catwalk opstuurde. De creaties waren zoals ieder jaar adembenemend mooi, alleen de hoge hakken zorgde ervoor dat de modellen begeleid moesten worden en dat zorgde voor afleiding.

Good day to you all! In the meanwhile I recovered from Amsterdam Fashionweek because yesterday I haven’t gone to the famous Dutch walk event ‘vierdaagse’ in Nijmegen. I was in the right mood but as well experiencing a bad cough, which I considered as a sign that I should take a day off. Today the sun shines bright and feeling totally in shape again so heading to the busy streets in Nijmegen to still visit the event.

But anyway, first I like to refer to my post of today about the fifth day of Amsterdam fashion week, where the attention was mostly focused on Dutch talented stylists Danie Bles and Winde Rienstra. I was highly impressed of Danie as she made a real party of her show with a live band and dancing models on the catwalk. As finishing and surprising touch she gave everyone in the audience a Barbie to take home (see photo 12).

After the show of Danie Bles it was time for a next performance by Winde Rienstra.
She let her models walk on crazy high heels and her creations were stunningly beautiful!
Unfortunately her models must be accompanied to prevent them from falling. This caused some distraction from the beautiful job she had done. In this report you can find an impression of five days Amsterdam fashion week 2013.
