OUTFITPOST: PRIMARK DUBLIN DAY 1

ENG: Hi there from Dublin! Today, together with four other journalists, I went to a press event organised by Primark. (Also known in Ireland as Penneys). Early this morning our alarm clock rang and shorly afterwards, approximately half past ten, we were already in front of the Clarence Hotel in Dublin. Although I wasnt expecting it, the transfer to Dublin is really fast! The hotel rooms were really spacious and there was a personalised goodie bag for all press relations. Among other things there was some information on event planning and a nice gift card to spend at Primark Dublin. This was a great gift! Together with the Dutch representatives we went to Penneys/Primark. Nice to mention is that the Dublin Penneys Branch is absolutely huge but in relation to other countries I have visited it is a lot less crowded. There is almost no mess and everything seems very organised. We had less than two hours to shop but I managed to spend my budget within the hour and went outside really satisfied with nice items. 

 

Two of those items I will show you in today’s outfit post. A red messenger bag together with a pinstripe dress both costing only 9 euro’s. The dress has some stretch which makes wearing it very comfortable! A red messenger bag has been on my wish list for quite some time and this one poses as a nice alternative to all other expensive variants on the market. The other items I bought will be showed in the following posts. Besides these outfit pictures I sure made a lot of nice scenery pictures in Dublin among which more detailed pictures from the hotel, the winter collection presentation and other events. I will publish these pictures in a special diary within a few days therefor it is important you pay close attention to my blog! NL: Hello vanuit het Ierse Dublin. Vandaag bezocht ik samen met vier journalisten de pers dag van kleding keten Primark (bekend onder de naam Penneys in Ierland).  Vanmorgen ging al vroeg de wekker en rond een uur of elf stonden wij al in het Clarence hotel in Dublin. Ik had het echt niet verwacht, maar je bent echt super snel in Dublin.  De kamers in het hotel waren groot/mooi en voor ieder media lag er een gepersonaliseerde goodiebag te wachten. Hierin onder andere de planning en een super fijne gift card om te besteden in de Pennyes/Primark Dublin. Niet verkeerd!  Met het Nederlandse team gingen we op pad naar de Penneys. De Penneys in Dublin is echt enorm groot en met betrekking tot de andere landen een stuk rustiger. Er is bijna geen rotzooi en alles ligt systematisch gesorteerd.  We hadden precies 2 uur om te shoppen, maar binnen een uurtje stond ik met een goed gevulde zak alweer buiten. 
 

Twee van mijn geshopte items show ik jullie in de outfitpost van vandaag, namelijk de rode messenger bag (€9) en het gestreepte jurkje (€9).  In het jurkje zit stretch waardoor het tijdens het dragen erg comfortabel aan voelt.  De rode messenger tas stond al een tijdje op mijn lijstje en dit is natuurlijk de perfecte budget variant op alle dure exemplaren.  De andere geshopte items laat ik jullie natuurlijk later zien! Naast deze outfitfoto’s maakte ik ook nog veel foto’s van Dublin, het hotel, de fantastische collectie winter presentatie en andere activiteiten. Deze foto’s komen een dezer dagen online in een speciale diary. Hou mijn blog dus zeker in de gaten. Voor nu wens ik jullie een fijne nacht, ik ben echt kapot van het vroege opstaan en de lange dag.
