DIARY: ROEST, MARRIOTT AND BACARDI HOUSE

 

Good afternoon readers. It is Monday again, times flies!! Last week I had a really busy week and had to visit many places in just a short time. However I did great things, had nice meetings and enjoyed my spare time. On Monday I atteded the Jan Boelo show and made recordings for FashionistChloeTV. If you did not see the video about this show yet, please click here and watch. On Tuesday I worked at home in Nijmegen and went babysitting in the afternoon. Even tought I am very busy keeping my blog updated every day I also look after 3 children as a babysitter a couple of hours a week. Really different and sometimes quite hectic but I love to do it. On Wednesday and Thursday I had many meetings and appointments in Amsterdam.  To make it clear my last meeting ended at 8 PM. Madness if you ask me!

At this time it would have been best to go to bed early or to prepare myself for the next day, but I went out with my lovely friend Tamar and came home very, very late, I dare not to mention the time. Because of this, I only slept for 2 hours or something when my alarm rang the next morning... Honestly, it would have been better to go to bed a little earlier but sometimes you just have to do things and enjoy life!
On Friday I came home to Nijmegen, where I currently live, this is something some of my friends can't believe! There I went babysitting, took the children out for dinner and after that I had a talk about blogging and my blog on my old high school. Wow! It was so much fun to be back on my old school, to see all the teachers again and to tell something about my job.
 
And to add to the maddness in my schedule, I decided to go to Amsterdam again on Saturday and Sunday. Yes, I know… I traveled a lot this week! On Saturday evening I went to a photo exhibition by RVDA X Buutvrij at Barcardihouse, and on Sunday I checked out the Sunday afternoon drinks by Overdose at café Roest, Amsterdam. I had never been at Roest before but I really liked the atmosphere of this place. in addition, I also liked the concept by Overdose.am. In a factory were a number of booths were you can shop vintage stuff, eat some homemade food or you could just chill out in front of the live singers. This place was amazing to spending your Sunday.
  
What is there to see on these pictures? 1. My favorite breakfast: fresh fruit, yogurt and tea, 2. Together with my friend Debra at Super Social last week, 3. At Roest trying out a beanie by The Vault Designs, 4. Typical quote for me LOL!, 5. karaoke with Live Build at Roest, so much fun!! 6. I discovered a very nice brand named SuperKoeien, which design these amazing desert boots with cow fur. If you aks me the perfect festival shoes, 7. Together with photographer Reinier (RVDA) and Tamar at the RVDA X Buutvrij party BarcardiHouse Amsterdam, 8. COCKTAILS..., 9. Wow thats me on the poster by 24CC at my old high school, 10. Together with the crew of 24CC after I my blog talk, 11. Last Thursday I attended the lovely Linden&Barbosa press diner at Marriott hotel Amsterdam, 12. WOW the desserts were delicious!! 13. Together with Roy at T'Paardje Amsterdam (and yep, sometimes I have to enjoy my spare time LOL), 14. I just fell in love (Nooo.. not with a boy) but with these Eden Swartz jeans.
