♥ CATWALKSHOW: C&A DUSSELDORF SUMMER 2012 ♥

Yesterday the 19th of October, I attended together with some other fashionbloggers the summershow 2012 by C&A. In the morning, we were picked up by C&A cabs at Amsterdam station Rai. The cabs brought us to the big show in Düsseldorf (Germany). When we arrived, Paulien Straeter (C&A PR and communication Netherlands) was waiting for us and we were welcomed by waiters with delicious fruit juices.

This anniversary year (170 years C&A) C&A focussed on a better environment by selling a lot of organic cotton. Of course it is more expensive for C&A to fabricate, still the sellingprice remains the same. C&A made some kind of garden at the entrance, where it was possible to see the entire organic cotton collection. After we took a look at the garden and spoke with the C&A crew, the show started. C&A's collection consists of many subthemes, therefore my enormous amount of pictures. I was impressed by the show, because of the good models, music, free WIFI and atmosphere. I loved the pieces of the Yessica Pure collection (picture 6) and the african/etnic looks of the Yessica Wild World collection (pictures 7-11). In my opionion the organic cotton collection is a good initiative and I was amazed to see the cute little kids walking in these clothes, although I was even more flattered by the other collections. After the show we got a 'flying lunchdinner' with delicious food. I had an amazing day and I want to thank the C&A crew that gave me the opportunity to enjoy this show, the flying dinner and for the small tour at C&A headquarters where we saw all the samples.. I really hope that I'll be able to be there next year! ♥♥♥

♥ CATWALK: CLAES IVERSEN SS2012 ♥

 

Today I visited the show of Claes Iversen at Zuidpark Amsterdam (I was still a little bit ill).The collection SS2012 is amazing, as you maybe can see. Key words of this collection are: high shoulders, sequins, orange, flowers and bows. I especially love the white long dress of the first picture, but actually the entire collection of Claes Iversen is beautiful! The all in all impression was that people were overwhelmed by the show of Claes Iversen. PS. don't forget to join my giveaway! ♥♥♥

♥ CATWALKSHOW: MONIQUE COLLIGNON ♥

On Sunday, September 25, Monique Collignon showed her new Haute Couture collection Living Jewelz at Restaurant Stork in Amsterdam. Many invitees enjoyed the show. Under the audience I recognized many people known in media, television and fashion business. To name a few: Caroline Vogel (GTST), Inge Ipenburg, Lone van Roosendaal (Voetbalvrouwen) and Xandra Brood together with her lovely daughter Holly. Monique Collignon was inspired by orchids. She especially made new colorcards that matched the orchids colors. This haute couture collection was one of the best collection I have ever seen of Monique Collignon. During the evening she also brought her new MC Couture Light collection to the catwalk. This is a more affordable collection (prices are around 200 euro's). ♥ CATWALKSHOW: RAAK SHOW WESTERGASFABRIEK ♥

 

On Monday, September 19, Jos van Raak gave an amazing fashion show in the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. many invitees enjoyed the fashion show full of Dutch VIP’s such as Quinty Trustfull, Froukje de Both (photo 6), Irene van der Laar, Kim Feenstra and BNTM Mellisa! I especially loved the looks on these pictures. For example the beautiful leather jacket of NMBR NINE. I also was impressed by Label Jos Raak 'PartyDress Collection' (last three pictures). After the show, people could directly shop a part of the new collection in the Raak pop up store (mini market).

♥ MARLOES BLAAS FASHIONSHOW ♥

Last Sunday I was invited by Cream PR for the show of Marloes Blaas. Marloes Blaas showed high waist flared trousers, tricot jumpers and sweepy dresses. I really like her new collection. I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity and originality  of this young designer. I hope more young designers follow her path. ♥ ♥ ♥

♥ CATWALKSHOW: G-STAR RAW ♥

Yesterday the 17th of July I was invited by creative director of G-Star Patrick Kraaijeveld for the G-Star customer event at the passenger terminal in Amsterdam. I was very curious about this event. As you maybe have read in my latest post, it was the first time that G-star also invited press for this event. G-Star organized it very well. They offered drinks, many delicious food, nice music and a super fashionshow. 

After a chitchat with several people, I entered the fashion show. G-Star, well known for their denim brand presented a show with many dark denim pieces. They also showed beige/brown clothing as you can see in these pictures. The accent was more on denim than other fabrics as was to be expected for a denim fashion brand. It was a cool show with a lot of entertainment.  My favourite was the white/blue denim blazer. I have high expectations for future shows by G-Star. I am looking forward to be a present by their next shows.♥♥♥
