Yesterday it was a beautiful day to walk through the parc in Amsterdam. The sun was shining and many people walked through the Vondelpark. After a very nice day in Amsterdam, I closed my day at the Cointreau Cocktail party to celebrate the cooperation between Cointreau and designer Alexis Mabille at The Waterfront restaurant 'T Bosch. PRESSDAY: MARLIES DEKKERS AND L'ECOLE

Last week I attended the Marlies Dekkers' Pressday. Normally the pressday is held in their shop at the Cornelis Schuytstraat at Amsterdam. For this press day Marlies Dekker decided to invited the press, media and stylist at a more special location, guesthouse Maison Rika. This guesthouse comprises two stylish bedrooms and a gallery/ boutique space. Designed and styled by former Swedish interior stylist Ulrika Lundgren, the elegant townhouse accommodates pop-up events and art exhibitions as well as displaying a selection of our favourite Rika merchandise including candles, books and jewellery. The two bedrooms feature a stylish mix of vintage and contemporary furniture, dark wooden floorboards as well as quirky and eclectic artwork. Marlies Dekkers’ collection was based on the ‘dazzling beauty of white winters and blissful floral summers of Scandinavia’. I especially like the lingerie of picture one. Besides the Marlies Dekkers there was also room for the new collection of L'ecole. A brand that I did not know, but which really appealed to me. The leather jacket with the fur body and studs is amazing!
