Last Saturday I attended Sension White Source of Light. This year Bols add flavour to Sensation and launched a special cocktail edition. Before the show started a selected group of people got a preview of the Sensation cocktail at the House of Bols. At the House of Bols you will find all about Lucas Bols – the world’s oldest distilled spirit brand, which has been making liqueurs in Amsterdam since 1575. I also made a Bols experience, I went to the hall of Taste, where you will discover all 38 Bols liqueurs and how they are made, the Delfts blue room, the World of Cocktails ‘club’ and the mysterious Bols Genever Room. It was a great experience.

After we tasted some cocktails (which contained much alcohol), we continued our evening to Sensation. Bols invited us to the special Royal Loge and the Dance4Life skybox where we had a perfect overview on the maistage. However it is not really my type of party (It is crowdy, 40.000 people, fortunately we were standing in an other area), it is always fun to go to such parties once. I would like to thank Bols for this amazing evening.

I found this dress in sale at Mango during my first hours in Berlin. I had some doubts , because I had just arrived, but now I am totally in love with the dress. It's a pleated skirt with a different colored top, which makes it very special. I wore this outfit on my third day in Berlin, combined with flat shoes because I killed my the night before at the Hunkemoller show and Bjorn Borg/G-Star after-party. How would you combined this dress, heels or flat shoes?

EVENT: BJORN BORG AFTERPARTY BERLIN

Last wednesday, after the big Hunkemoller show I attended the Bjorn Borg 90's party in a church somewhere in Berlin. After some cool beats of well-known Dutch (fashion) DJ Claire, 2 Unlimited gave an amazing live performance on stage. 2Unlimited was a Dutch eurodance group formed in 1991. The group scored 16 chart hits, including "Get Ready for This", "Twilight Zone", "No Limit" and "Tribal Dance". I liked the Bjorn Borg party, I met many nice people and some people also were dressed in 90's style, which was very cool. However the location stayed empty for a long time, because the church was too big.

Hi from Berlin!! Yesterday I went to one of the biggest fashion fairs of Europe, the Bread and Butter Berlin. I saw some great things and spoke with many inspiring people. More about it soon..

I wore my flat converse during the fashion fair, because all the brands were spread over ten different areas. Thats means that I walked a lot, After this impressive dat I went to the Bjorn Borg and G-Star party, which were both amazing. Now I am really tired and I am going to hunt some vintage today. I will tell you more about everything here in Berlin soon.

HUNKEMOLLER SHOW GIRLS ON FILM IN BERLIN

Yesterday evening I attended the Hunkemoller show "Girls on Film" together with a small group of Dutch journalists. it was already a big happening before the show even started, as the lovely couple Silvie and Rafeal van der Vaart made an early entrance on the pink carpet. It was funny to see that this originally Dutch VJ is now hugely popular among the German public. People came of all sides asking for signatures and pictures (of course also because of her husband Rafeal van der Vaart, famous soccer player of Tottenham Hotspur). The Dutch showbiz TV-show "Shownieuws" was also in Berlin for this special event.  After I took some snapshots of the couple looking extremely happy. I made my entrance for the big show.

The show was held in the Berliner esamble, a 100-year old theater. Sources of inspiration for the collection were film divas from the 20's and 50's. Sylvie ended the show in a light pink bustier and a long semi-transparant skirt. She did so in a peculiar way: she made her entrance on a swing being lowered on stage. It was amazing!

I really enjoyed the show and afterparty. I had an evening for a lifetime! Watch the short movie for an impression of the show and check especially 00:08. Have a nice day, I am off to Premium fashion fair.

Hi there, just a quick update from Berlin. Yesterday I attended the openingshow of Mercedes Benz Fashionweek hosted by Grazia. During the openingnight the showing designers gave a preview of their new collection. I wore a grey dress with hoodie from Chloe combined with my new Fashionchick high heels and black clutch which I bought in London. Off to Adidas Party and Hunkemoller show now,  very curious because Sylvie van der Vaart is one of the catwalkmodels.
